The hotel has a unique charm with vintage décor.
During our stay, the cleanliness was severely lacking, with mold growing on the caulk in the bathroom. The beds were unbelievably uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The old wood floors squeaked loudly every time we moved, waking us up at night, and the staff's unfriendly demeanor added to our disappointment.

great dining and local shopping make this hotel a gem
During my stay, I discovered amazing dry aged steaks at the bistro, unexpectedly better than many big city steakhouses, which made my evenings so enjoyable. plus, I loved that I could stroll to nearby local shops and grab a bite at cozy spots like Paulies, creating a perfect weekend experience for city walkers like me.

We loved visiting the local shops and checking out the nearby hiking trails. Free parking was a huge plus. The restaurant had reasonable prices for drinks, definitely worth trying out on a night in.
One thing that bugged me was the traffic noise—it was pretty loud at night with trucks and motorcycles passing by. It was hard to get a good night's sleep with all that going on.

I truly enjoyed the charm of the vintage décor and the peaceful atmosphere it created. The spacious common areas, including a large lounge, made it easy for me to relax and socialize with friends throughout my stay.
More seating in common areas would be appreciated.

The hotel has a unique charm, with vintage décor adding a cozy feel. The spacious Queen Room made for a comfortable stay. The bed felt great, comparable to my Sleep Number at home. I particularly enjoyed the delectable pastries for breakfast. However, the parking situation was frustrating. I had trouble finding a spot and there were few nearby options. The check-in staff weren't particularly engaging, missing a chance to make my arrival warmer. Also, the shower left something to be desired. being an old hotel, the water pressure wasn’t the best. Despite these issues, I really appreciated the historical ambiance of the place.
